C32 A/C info needed. ITS HOT!
My fan had to be replaced about a week ago, and now I tried turning my AC on and its just blows hot air. My question is: does the fan have anything to do with the AC system? Like being hooked up wrong or something not hooked back up.
*Took my car back to the dealer and they did a check, $200 later and of course they said that it wasn't anything they did and there was possibly a clog in my system.
I also tried to search and see if I could find schematics of the AC system so see where a clog could occur.
Thanks!

I don't know if this will work for your car but turn the ac on full blast, then hold the "rest" button until the display changes. Push the left "auto button" repeatedly until the left number reads 7. Then tell me what the number to the right says

Did you tab over to number 7? The number shouldn't be that high unless your car is different than mine. I was experiencing hot air from my ac and when I went to #7 it read 0, this is your freon pressure. Went to the local auto store and bought a can of freon with a gauge so I wouldn't overfill it. Ac started blowing cold with the freon recharged

Ok seems like yours is a little different than mine. Push the left "auto" button, you have dual climate control right? do that until the left number reads "7" or for you it might be "07" and read the number on the right

Recharge your freon, should be good to go!
You probably have a leak. Take it to MB and have em fix it under warranty

just right off hand, does anyone know what the plug for the radiator fan actually provides power to? I know the fan but there seem to be too many wires for just a fan.

Got the kit, and when i plugged it in the needle pinned itself in the RED. So i unplugged and tried again, this time it didnt move anywhere. unplugged and tried again and the same, no where. Did it once more making absolutely sure i had it on there and got the same 0 reading. So i went ahead and filled until I got it in the green. it literally took maybe 5 seconds after i opened the bottle. Hardly any of the bottle was used. went and felt the AC and its still hot as hell.
Any other ideas?
Could the temperature sensor cause this?
Also, I do not have the stock fan in there. Could that be a cause?
Thanks!

So mercedes told you that you had a clog in your system, but they tell you what needed to be fixed or what was actually clogged.
In my older car I would take it to a shop and ask them to check it out and once the problem was determined I would fix it myself.

They said they tried to pressurize the system and they said it wouldnt take anything. They said they tried the low and high side. So they said it was probably a clog in the system. No info as to where or what. I'm pretty car savvy but I dont know much about ac systems and what they include. I'm pretty sure its not the compressor bc its blowing air just fine. The air is just hot.
I did the whole self recharge thing today with no results.
Also, if the temp sensor is damaged or unplugged could that cause the ac not to work properly?

I just find it so weird that the system could develop a clog, maybe some sort of tubing was bent. Were there a CEL?
