I found this interesting. Here's a 18'' vs 19'' comparison. Its done by Best motoring which is kinda like the tuner version of top gear except less scripted and more general real world results.
They talk about the technology thats gone into tire technology and wheel manufacturing.

range rover looking for a new w206
the second post is more intresting !!! but on the original thread I use 18s on the track and 19s on the road as the 18s feel better on the limit ..

yeah I agree c cups would be good for long term and d's well nice to play around with but will sag in time.....btw just my 2 cents on the 2nd post
