Maybe one out of every twenty tries will it actually tell me my oil level.
On average it just says "perform service on time". Its frustratng. What the hell is it saying this for? The "service due" counter still has thousands of miles left on it.
Just thought I would ask before I start punching it and screaming at it more :p

You have to wait a specific amount of time after shutting the vehicle off to get a reading. If you don't you'll get that message. At least you don't have a red "Oil Level - Visit Workshop" message every time you start the vehicle even after you changed the $120 dollar oil level sensor...
