So my AC compressor came apart and my independent shop says its going to cost $1700 to repair. Will need to replace the AC Compressor, Drier, and Expansion valve.

Does any one have any experience with this? Any shop recommendations in Atlanta?

Did you try calling Atlanta Classic Cars? Can't hurt just to see what they say. A/C work is usually expensive.

ACC, Buckhead, RBM are your dealer choices; contact Blue Ridge MB, not sure if he does A/C but he seemed like a stand up guy when I met him a couple weekends ago.

Revolution Benz might be worth looking up. They are on Dekalb Industrial.
