i have a slk 55 amg and just have putin a c55 amg motor it is a beast of note it was a tight fit putting the motor in but it fits the c55 amg motor has a higher horsepower than the original slk55 amg motor so there is difference

You put a C55 engine in a SLK55? For the love of god why? There the same.

The power difference is most assuredly just in the ECM programming or intake/exhaust design. Everything else is the same.

You should have put a W211 E55 engine in it. Then you'd be set!
