Wiper Blades Replacement

lapdance would be a great idea. then live larger by springing for the whole set blade+frame from the stealer($75). this is what I used to do, but my good friend who is the sevice manager for a stealership told me to just purchase the blade refills. BTW all you have to do is squeeze the metal clips on the end and the bade slides off and the replacements have notches on the rubber and no longer use the metal clips. besides, I like the look of the stock blade frames with the small diffuser...I guess I'm old school
I just ran into the garage after reading your reply. I have successfully remove the rubber insert by pressing the metal clip on both sides.
I will go to an auto store tomorrow and find the 22" and 24" inserts. However, I cannot gurantee whether the refills have the notches that you mentioned. Since, in here, Canada, the most common brand is Bosch and other crappy brands. Would you please advise whether the metal clip from the OEM blade can be reuseable? From your memory, do you remember how to reassembly to a new insert (if no notch on the new refill)?
I hate buying stuff from the stealerships because I know they are charging unreasonable price on items that we can find it the retail stores.
Anyway, I will update my progress tomorrow, thanks!

Okay, buddy. I am so desperated after trying numerous sizes of wiper blades this afternoon. It turned out all the "straight" wiper blades on the passenger side will hit the plastic molding (crowl) after the wiper is turned on.

I was so impatient that i ended up making numerous trips to and from my local car store, buying and returning merchandise coz the ones they sell just wouldn't fit right. just get them online, they're only $5-6 ea. so i got 3 sets. as far as reassembling the blades its pretty stright forward, the metal strips have a hook like shape on each end and those go into the 2 of 4 notches that i was talkin about, one strip on each side. The other 2 notches lock on to the frame itself. you just pull the blade with enough pressure until the frame hooks go into the remaining 2 rubber blade notch. That's the best way i could explain it from memory. hope that helps

don't bother going to the store coz i did that as well, it was a waste of time because the refills didn't have the notches. the refills being sold from the link i sent earlier were specificaly for our stock wipers. the only thing that you need to keep from the old blades are the two metal strips.

Ordered a set of wiper refills (by SWF) this morning as suggested by W203Ramos. Hopefully they will work!

I see that you are in Ontario, I too had your problem. The Dealer used to sell the refills for 20 bucks. I used the refills for several years then they "stopped making them" and you had to purchase the complete blade assembly for 40-50 bucks a side. That is green thinking MB.
Anyways, I found refills at Canadian Tire, they used to sell them stopped selling them and started selling them again. They are about 6 bucks for a pair.
The problem everyone has running back and forth with refills is the width. For the C32 it is the narrow size. There is also a medium and wide.
The only thing you have to worry about is not bending the metal blade bracket that holds the rubber refill. The refill kit gives you everything else including the retainer clips. Just measure carefully when cutting the refills to length.
Have been using them for the last 3 years, they do not last as long as the factory refills but at 6 bucks a pop I am good with it.

As a result, I refunded the package at the same day. As stated by W203Ramos, there is no retail store carry the insert that would fit the metal blades (note: I also tried Parts Source and they carried the only brand that Crappy Tire is selling).
I ordered a set of refills from Bimmerspecialist, the parts was shipped.
My refills (SWF) will be arrived soon, I let you guys updated what it turns out.

Okay, just received the refills made by SWF this morning. The removal and replacement of the rubber inserts are straight forward. Now, I saved at least $30. Thanks for W203Ramos for the suggestion. It fit perfectly. The only problem is that I cannot try the wipers right after the installation since there is no rain today. The weatherforecast indicates there will be rain this Sunday.
Will keep you guys updated.

W203Ramos...That works perfectly! Thank you very much. I wanted to keep the original wipers because they have the Mercedes logo PLUS the drivers side wiper has a wind deflector. Also the replacement fellas don't curve the passenger side. AutohausAZ is the way to go. Also less than $10 for the entire job using "will call" pickup.

It certainly is - given the amount of rain NoCal has recorded this far.
Interestingly enough M-B is offering complimentary new wiper blades in conjunction with a multi-point comp inspection.
Did it today. No problems. No cost. No kidding.
Rain fell enroute home. New wipers much better than the circa 5 year old OEM equipment.
