For some reason, when my AC unit is set to auto it will randomly turn off. I will turn it back to auto and everything is fine till it shuts itself off again. I will repeat this a few times and it will eventually stay on. Anyone know why this may be occurring? Is it a safety switch? Overload? Faulty?

I have the same issue, but it does not turn off my a/c the auto light just turns off.
