Hood Fitment Issue?

Hey guys took my car to the MB dealership to have some repairs, and now my hood won't close right? Any ideas why? It only fits strangely on one side..

There's latches just above and inside the high beams, and it looks like the driver side latch is engaged but the passenger side isn't. Pull up the hood to make sure there's no tools that were left there (that could dent your hood), and then just try closing the hood again. If it still doesn't close, then yes take it back, but check to make sure they just forgot to "click in" both sides.

I would take it back to them and tell them that the hood needs to be fixed. That definitely has a problem and it's not some thing you're making up. They can see it with their own eyes, you should tell them that the car should not have even been returned to you with the hood in that condition.

I'm planning on this because not only is this not right, but the oil leak that they "fixed" apparently wasn't fixed? Its been only just over 1000 miles since they fixed it and I had to give it a quart again

Regardless, I would still check yourself to make sure they didn't leave any tools. If they're dumb, maybe they'll just say "oh, it's not down all the way" and push down into it to get it to latch. If there's a tool there, you're going to dent your hood. Then you don't want to have to go through the hassle of getting a new hood, even if they are the ones paying for it.

True. I didn't see any tools (I've opened it and checked several times) and it the noise it makes when it closes doesn't seem right.

is the latch on the passenger side closed? so when it hits the pin it can't go by it?
