C55 Front Brake Discs
When you run your finger over the front brake discs to they feel "rippled," as if there are waves in the discs themselves? Should they be smooth? I am wondering because I get pulsing and vibration through the brake pedal and thought it might be caused by warpped discs.

They should be smooth as glass. You most likely need to go ahead and replace the pads and have the rotors turned.

from experience...dont cut them, slight ridges are normal for a daily driver. you can do oem rotors and aftermarket pads for around 250 if you have even the slightest bit of mechanical ability. oem pads are soft, smooth and quiet, but youll clean your wheels about every two days. my ceramics squeal every morning till theyre clean/warm, pulse now and then, but dont dust the wheels at all.
