Pullings Heads, and setting timing w/o pulling the engine?
So I ran into some trouble during the initial start up of my rebuilt engine. The exhaust valve on cylinder #2 stuck in the open position and the piston hit it. So needless to say I have to pull the head off again. I was wondering if there is a way of setting the timing or making sure the timing doesn't move so I can pull the head off. The only way I know how to set the timing is with the engine out, is it possible to do while it is still in the car?
