1970's Challenger R/T vs C32 AMG
65-145MPH... Dead even except for the C32 pulling a quarter length or so when he had to shift the R/T transmission. It was fully restored. Looked very nice. Which engine do you guys think it had?
Optional R/T engines were the 375 bhp (279.6 kW) 440 cu in (7.2 L) Magnum, the 390 bhp (290.8 kW) 440 CID Six-Pack and the 425 bhp (316.9 kW) 426 cu in (7.0 L) Hemi.
I'm thinking the 7.0L 426 cu in Hemi due to my areas altitude, and how even the race was. Must have been after finding this information...
426 Hemi: 13.2 @ 108 mph (174 km/h)
Had to of been modified a decent amount too as that engine would be running in the high to mid 14's at my altitude.
