Is it just me or does it look like a newer C230 seems to set lower with more of a "rake" than my '06 C55 sits? Yes, I know I have 19's and that has the car a little higher than stock, but it just seems like the '06 - '07 c230 sit lower, espically in the front, and have more of a "rake" to them (rear setting higher than front). I owned an '07 C230 sport and it too seemed to sit lower...and everytime I see one I look and they all seem to have a different stance than what my C55 has. I would have thought the C55 would have been lower stock than the C230's. Maybe its the 17's on the C230's as opposed to 18's and 19's on C55's?

I know they sit significantly lower than the C32's stock. It does make a difference that you have 19's your car will be a little higher. When it comes to the C55, a stock one seems to be right around the same height at the 07 c230's...that is with the stock wheels on both

Based off my 05 C-class Sport Sedan brochure, the C230, C320, and C55 sedans have identical overall heights at 55.6". The 203 front end is definitely stubbier (by 3.4") and more raked than the 209 front end on the C55, so I think that adds to the greater raked appearance. The 203 sport sedans were definitely low in stock form....

You would think the longer the nose the more or a rake appearance it would have, but not so. Thanks for looking up the deminsions...I guess I'll just have to park beside a C230 one day to really see what the deal is. I'm going to snap a pick or two when I do.
