Your opinion about a C32 I will go check tomorrow

Hi guys, I will go see a 2002 C32 tomorrow that is listed for sale by a local dealer. From what he told me over the phone, the car has high miles ~125-130k miles. He has it listed for a good price but I have several concerns;

-- First, do you think it's a good idea to buy a high mileage C32? I don't want to have to spend all the money I will save from the price on fixes on the car later on. Also, even though I am familiar with the VALEO radiator problem how would I know if the car had had the problem? Are there any lasting effects if the transmission wasn't replaced after such a problem?
-- How much does it cost to replace in case the IC pump isn't working?

Also, what other major problems does the car have and things I should be looking at?

Not to scare you but when i got my car with half those miles here's what i replaced:

- Fuel pump
- Intercooler coolant pump
- Transmission control plate with circuit board

the first two was covered so it wasn't that bad. tranny control plate costs a bundle.

Following felt like maintenance stuff but here goes:
- spark plugs
- tranny oil x 3 for a good flush
- rear diff oil
- all spark plug wires
- all engine pulleys
- both front damper bushings if that is what is called
- SC bearings
- SC Oil
- fuel filter
- fuel injectors ( very soon )
these are what i can think of on the top of my head....

This is by no means a comprehensive list, i'm sure others could chime in...
If you step back and see, its actually not bad, the car run very strong and smooth. The engine itself is very good.

GL~

Don't let that list scare you, you could do all of that work for probably less than $600 if you can do the work yourself.

I think the car would be a great buy depending on the price, the condition, and what you want it for.

I just noticed that a 2002 C32 was listed on Ebay with a NO RESERVE auction. It has around 95k miles I think. May want to keep your eye on that.
