As part of my rear brake uprade, I might need to change out the parking shoe backing plate. It looks like this plate won't fit over the wheel hub, so my question is if anyone has removed the wheel hub before?

I see the axle nut needs to be removed, possibly slide back the axle, and pull the hub. Is the hub pressed into the bearing?

Anything else I might need to watch out for or other potential failure modes?
