Cool

This is like a dog chasing it's tail. There is no right answer, only personal circumstances and decisions.

No matter how you get your car purchased you still got one of the finest cars ever made so just be happy no matter how you finagle your way behind the wheel .
Thank You - Nuff said!

This is an approved company car??? WOW, I'll send you my resume...You are a lucky man. what company?

Although these $800/month lease payments are killing me. Got 3 years left on my 4 year lease.

Man, it must be rough out there with the majority owner in their early 20's. Also, I'd bet mb would be surprise that they hit a demographic that they totally didn't expect.

As for me, the c32 is coming soon, hopefully and I am 25. I still can't justify the fact of dropping 60k cash on one car (well, i don't believe in car loans and i don't have my company so leasing it not an option). I would just go buy one rite now if I have over a few million dollars in net asset, which i am not even close at this stage.

I guess the question is is it really worth it? I mean, with leasing these days, any joe blow working at mcdonald can afford one if he wants to blow his entire paycheck. Also, do ppl give you that showoff and snobby look becuz you are young and have a nice ride?

Okay I am not convinced

Awesome post!!!

I am 26, have my own corp and doing rather well. I love this car but have been too scared to buy it until now. Reading about you guys has inpired me. I guess it is something of a priority, just can't help it think I could use the money to expand the business a bit more. And in a few years buy a CL55. I am tired of waiting though. I own a C right now but nothing to compare.

I must say that I am completely surprised by the age range. Just when you think you're doing quite well some guy three years younger beats you to it. Jeez, good for you guys.

The past couple of weeks I have been looking for a good deal in SoCal and I think I finally found one for a lease. Turns out if you get the starmark your money number for the lease will drop to near half. A little trick not in the book. So I will have my black beauty very soon.

So how do I get into this dimond biz?

Anyone wanna race?

You wanna get into the dimond bizz.
No problem.
Goto a bank and ask them for some small change like a couple of million $ to start a little bizz.
Then keep a low profile because the world is full of ***%% that are wanna rob you !
hehe !

I'm 36 and own a couple of motor spare shops. BTW, I consider myself very lucky to be driving a car like this at my age.

Comparing with many of your ages I am an old cow. I only got my dirving license for 12 years so my driving history is pretty young :p I am catching up ...

If I do get the C55 I might top you all at 52 (Electrical Engineer). By the time I would take delivery it would be 53. I hope that's OK with you guys

If anyone knows someone who wants a pristine VW R32 with 3900 mi, give me a shout.

Rgds,
Norm

How did I miss this thread?

Anyway, I'm 28, owner of a C55 and just turned C-Corp. in October (my business, not the car - although for tax purposes, maybe it will be the car - lol, j/k).

I would have had a C32 at 27 but they started pulling them off the line, making way for the C55. I'm REALLY glad I waited!

Nick

C32
39 year old Energy Trader (not with Enron luckily).

I wonder how you young guys can afford these things? I wish I had the cash at that age to have fun. Now I have no time to fully enjoy the toy. I had to play with Turbo charged RX-7s and Hondas back when I was young.
