the tensioner can be released by a standard socket, but I do not reccomend it It strips easily. I don't remember the exact number of bit, but you'll want the T star bit (it'll be like T25, T30, etc). Do a search and you'll find it.

On my C55, I swivel the tensioning pulley with the hex hole below the pulley in an anti-clockwise direction. A standard ratchet should work.

You sure that's right? That seems awful small for a tensioner. I can't tell you for sure what size since I don't have a C32, but you need a wide selection of Torx sockets to work on these cars.

03 g35 coupe...........02 c32 Sold
its suppose to be a e11 torx socket. You can use a e12. Just read the code3 pulley install instructions on the noobie sticky. Tells you everything you needs, you just swap out the belt instead of the pulley.

TemjinX2 is right, but my c32 took an e11 and they are a pain in the *** to find locally. I wasn't able to source one locally, so I bought one online.
