I have heard you can get them from parts.com for half the price as the dealer. My question is does this part have to be programmed to the cars ecu? I'm capable of changing out the throttle body but if it has to be programmed then I'm screwed and have to pay dealer the 1500.00 to fix. Any help from you guys will be so appreciated!!!!!

you can get them rebuilt for $250 at bb reman or something like that. Grammabenz has a thread about it. It doesn't need to be reprogrammed. It just plugs into the stock harness and works.
