Happened to me twice! once in broad daylight... 30 mins after i left my car... I have this constant need to just setup the car right where it was b4... and put a video recorder inside... and watch from a distance... with a few of my cop friends

Busted Side view mirror on 2002 c32
Hi ,
I read your post about stolen side view mirrors. I hope you had luck getting the right parts. it is a shame that we have such idiots that steal your car parts without realizing that what they steal is worthless to them but costs you a lot of money to replace. I hit a garbage dumpster and the inside of my passenger side-view mirror fell out. The signal lighting part works when I signal, but its glass housing is broken. I also hear the electronics working when I use the buttons but the casing that holds the mirror is missing. The mirror piece itself is intact but can only stay inside the housing by tape. Can you tell me where you got your parts and share with me any other ideas that come to mind? What parts should I buy and from where? I see on Ebay they sell the package (unpainted for $179). Thanks. Mine is also silver C32, 2002. Thanks,

See if you can post a pic of the black motor and the back of the mirror to see if I can tell if yours are damaged.

broken side view mirror
the mirror itself does not stay in. I think there needs to be a plastic casing around the mirror itself that has broken off. This is what I see on the driver's side. Also the lights work but the case for lights is also broken. Thanks,

Stolen Side View Mirrors
Shopping in a Houston mall came out to find both side mirrors of my C250 stolen. Luckily had comprehensive insurance, got both mirrors replaced by my insurance company. But the thought of this happening again made me search online and finally found a company on Amazon that makes guards that I bought and seem to be working well.
