C55 torque converter lockup feel again
Let's try this again.
When at about 1/2 throttle from a stop (which means accelerating much faster than the rest of the cars at the light
) I can definitely feel the TC lockup in first gear when it engages and drops the car about 400 rpms (makes you think it's a shift). Doesn't happen in M mode, and you don't really feel it during soft driving or WOT driving
. Not sure if I'm feeling it now more because of the recent fluid change, or I never noticed it, or if the transmission has adapted itself to do this now in this situation. ![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
Anyone with similar experiences and did a TCU adaptation relearn (gas pedal click with ACC on?) help?

good luck with that, numerous people have tried all sorts of tricks (including the pedal crap) without success.

On my C32, the ECU/TCU reset does seem to lessen the jerk for a few days. It is definitely not a "fix" though. It's kind of like taking Nyquil for a cold. It masks the symptoms.
I have been told repeatedly, by the dealer, it is the nature of the tranny and the high performance vehicle. I live with it, begrudgingly.
