Just washed my C32 for the 1st time, I've had it for exactly one week.. the front right caliper has a peeled area about 1/2" by 1/4" inch on the top of it..
I didn't notice it at pick up.. must have happened when the caliper got hot after driving, because the wheel is totally flawless. Anyone ever seen this?
Do you think the dealer will replace the caliper for me? I wouldn't mind all that much but it's at the top of the caliper (very obvious) and the car is only a week old..
PS.. After doing a bit of searching.. I've read it is possible to scratch the caliper if the person installing the wheel is not careful.
I inspected the area a bit more closely and saw that the top of the hex bolt for the caliper is scuffed along the same horizontal axis as the other peeling area.
Since I did not Remove/Replace the wheel.. could this damage be from the factory?

Mike,
The paint must not have been applied properly on that caliper. If HOI does not replace it for you, let me know and I will have it taken care of.
