Door Jam Sensor
Well, I think my door jam sensor is confused. It says my door is open when it is not. I have not gotten a chance to look at this thanks to the weather. I did a quick search on the boards but found nothing. Has anyone had this kind of problem?
I'm sure it is most likely an easy fix, but also considering the lovely weather we are currently having, I don't want to be messing around with this in the snow and cold.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

Alright, well, I got my new sensor and I was trying to install it, but I need to pull off the panel inside to hold the connector steady. When trying to pull the other plug end out, one of the wires came out.
So, I noticed these yellow tabs on the inside and I was wondering if those are just spots to pop that cover off. Should I just pry it off at those spots? I don't want to go breaking anything, so I figured I would ask on here and get some help.
Thanks!

hhhmmm.....you know, that's a very good point you made there.
Side air bags....bah, I guess I will just have to take my time and figure it out or just bring it to the MB dealer. They probably wouldn't charge much to fix that one. I'm more of a do it yourself kind of guy, but if there is one thing I have learned over my years of working on cars, sometimes even the simple things, are much easier left to the people who do it for a living.
maybe this is one of those cases.....
at least it is supposed to be nice this week. i will figure it out.....
