100k maintenance completed... what now?

My car's in the shop getting the tranny fluid changed/flushed as we speak, and just about everything else is already taken care of or brand new courtesy of my tax return (oil, brakes, tires, coolant, plugs, wires, filters, belt, wipers), and the only other "faulty" bit is the secondary air injection pump which is on its way shortly. The suspension is OEM and has never been replaced; it rides rough, but doesn't NEED to be replaced (to my knowledge). I actually prefer how the car handles now as compared to how it handled at 57k when I bought it. I guess that the idler pulley could use to be replaced too, but I can't detect any specific wobbling.

This begs the question - do I finally get a tune? I'm happy with how fast the car is now, but faster is certainly always better, not to mention better MPG and throttle response, but should I be worried about it potentially breaking something? I've got just shy of 110k on the ticker and haven't had any major issues (knock on wood), aside from her being a bit loud and cranky in sub-30 degree weather... Is there any way to do a more thorough but relatively inexpensive way to check my engine for any parts that might be close to giving up the ghost?

I should also mention - I'm only 30-40 miles from Eurocharged, so I can even get a dyno tune with the tune and not have much, if any, downtime. The only mods I have are Magnecors, K&Ns and Iridiums.

Do you think I'd be better off getting the trunk repainted (there's some rust forming along the edge of the lid), as opposed to the tune?

TIA for your opinions =)

Go. I'm adding at least 50lbs to the rear end with the system I'll be putting in shortly, so I suppose the tune makes more sense, eh?

I would address the rust 100%!! Rust is like cancer and if you don't treat it quickly it will take over and f*ck your whole car up! I had rust on my last 1998 C230 mercedes and it spread and quickly became to expensive to fix. I would have cost me more to fix than the car was worth.....I ended up selling the car for $2,000 cash to someone. Rust is a car killer...FOR SURE!!!

The thing about the rust is that it's only on the lip of the trunk lid and not spreading sideways. The trunk will have to be fully repainted anyway, and last I checked, plastic bumpers can't rust. Correct me if I'm mistaken, though, honestly.
