That's because I have a sickness like the rest of us, and partialy
because I am around them all the time.I think the car I have now
I will Keep until they come up with something I like better. It's not
acually the most practical thing to do.But It's much cheaper

Hi all. For those of you who have installed any spoilers/lids on your car, what methods did you use? I just installed my Lorinser set; it was a *****. Two problems arose during installation: 1. The black pasted-like thing they provided for roof wing is dried up; and it had little adhesiveness; 2. The silicone for rear-lip was also somewhat degraded. Luckily, I wiped off the silicone off of my trunk before it dries up on the paint forever. It was a major work to clean the silicone (I'd never work w/ that **** again). So, after everthing was clean and shinning, I used some industrial strength 3M double-sided adhesive. It worked flawlessly, and took little time. After curing it for a night with tapes bonding the spoilers tight against the car, it's now sticking very well. It makes me wonder why the silicone and the black crap were even necessary.

Mine is kinda wack too, I am going to have a body shop do it for me..They have serious tape and better mounting skills...
