Beware of those no name brand wheels. They will be heavy, possibly poor tolerances which will cause shaking and not be very strong. TSW makes cheap wheels that are reasonably light.

+1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Half the time they do more damage then good. I bought a set off ebay and they needed spacers. The car got steering wheel shake at 50+mph and had to replace the wheels. Waste of money.....
I would go with a brand that is made for Mercedes. A replica or a brand name like Mandrus "www.mandruswheels.com" is a good starting point.
In fact Mandrus makes a wheel that looks similar to the second ebay choice you had but IMO looks much better, is lighter and is made FOR your car which = no spacers and no B.S.

CLS, SLK, ETC
Some owners have good experiences with it... It's really up to you though..
C63 style looks really good on C55. First set will look great on SLK tho![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Oh yea, and go for 19s.. 18s look so small for C55

Save your money and get a set of real amg 5 spoke gunmetals from c63. Shop around you should be able to find a set on this forum or eBay. The faux rims really just don't stack up to the true amg. You will love em. They make c55 look like completely diff animal. 1500 hundy should get you a used set in perfect condition.

If your going to spend that much money...
spend a little more and get Forgestars.
They are really nice design and forged as well.
Look up a fellow named James@ACGSD (vendor) on this board

I see the back rim is 9.5. Can I run a 265 tire on that?
