Hey Guys!

It has been a while since we have been back on the boards. Attached are some pictures of the C55 in its current state.

We installed the CLK 63 Black Series Front Wide body Bumper and Fenders to accomodate larger front wheels and to have a wider front track. We then had our friends over at Kognition Design make us a carbon fiber trunk mounted wing for the car for added rear downforce.

The car is running Toyo Tires RS1 slicks at the moment. Once our HRE's get completed we will be running 245's up front and 285's in the rear.

Lastly, the car was wrapped in the HG signature digital camo scheme. Let us know what you think!

What I wanna know is how you're able to run 285's in the rear with no rubbing!(oh NVM, I see post #29 now)

 

I mean who needs an interior anyways? great job guys, nice to see you back on here. Expected a bit more power but nonetheless it's plenty quick I'm sure.

 

Thanks Michael. Yes, we were expecting more power, but there is still more power and weight to be taken out of the car.

 

The camo is a bit distracting (IMO), but front and front 3/4 view it looks amazing.

 

My heavily modified C55 has bow 450hp (with the new exhaust) and according to Vath this is about has much hp as you can get from the 5.8 N/A and it will stay very reliable

 

awesome do you guys wanna retrofit some paddle shifts on there? i know someone in so cal i can get you in contact with if you want to get them on the steering wheel.

 

Love it except for one thing...the camo pattern starts too early from front to back and hides those beautiful Black Series curves!

Any details about how much weight you've managed to pare or the diffuser?

Hopefully one day mine will be as much fun on a road course as that one looks

Thank you for the suggestion. Currently the setup we are using is fine for us.

I will dig up some information on the weight of the car. As I cannot remember off the top of my head.

 

What's with the camo.....

 

how did you get the clk63 BS fenders and bumper fit?! I know you cant fit the bumper w/o the front fenders....

Does it follow the same guidelines as the clk bumper in general? it fits but simply needs new internal mating points to attach the bumper to the car. or did it require a major overhaul including the fenders?

 

i also noticed some gapping issues on the driver side headlight

 

Personally, for a race/track car, I like it A LOT more than white and stickered.

 

ALL of the shop cars have this scheme. maybe they'll post some pics of the other shop cars?

 

LOL at 312whp I had a k24 2.4L all motor civic of mine make 318whp

 

It took lots of time and patience. The fenders are not meant to fit on the C55 body, but our body shop made them work best we could. There are some slight gaps around the headlights. This is definitely not a bolt on conversion, it definitely takes some massaging.

Ive owned three AMG's point is 300whp n/a out of a v8 is **** period with all that money spent thats weak as hell Im willing to bet i go buy a c55 put a cam longtubes and a good tune and make 312whp

 

If they wanted, I'm sure they could have got a lot more hp out of c55's engine.

 

My point is: if we cared about Civics, we'd be on a Civic forum. My Trailblazer made more than 312whp from the factory, but who cares? This isn't a Trailblazer forum. They said they were expecting more, why do you need to make troll comments about it?
