door handle carbon fiber fabric wrap
I've done the wrapping of my door handle (all four)
Actually, I wrapped them with 3M carbon fiber vinyl about few months ago.
I've been very satisfied with the old one, however, had a chance to do it with carbon fabric since I had some left over carbon fiber fabric today after my gf's beetle dash board wrapping was done.
It is hard to tell the difference visually.
They both have nice quality and look.
Therefore, the only difference that I could notice was the size of the texture.
3M - Bigger , Fabric - Smaller
However, the feeling of the surface or the touchy was whole lot different!
Fabric is much more smooth and soft than the 3M sticker.
So, if you want to do this, I would like to recommend fabric one.!!!
What you have to prepare for this is as follows.
1. Carbon fabric
2. 3M adhesive spray 77
3. door handles
4. hands w/ gloves
1. cut fabric to a proper size just a little bit larger than the door handle
2. spray adhesive on both door handle and fabric
3. let it dry for 30 seconds or so
4. stick them properly
5. wait until it drys and stick strongly
6. cut the edge
7. end!!
Here's the pics!!!
