Digital Climate Control Test
Before anyone states, yes I did search the w209 and w203 forums, and I was unable to find any information.
I understand that upgrading to a digital climate control is a hit or miss.
I was unable to find out information to know once you have swapped to the digital climate control how do you know if the unit is completely working.
Since I have a chance to try a few units, I want to make my life a little more efficient when I'm testing the units.
Do all digital units light up once you power it?
Once I normalize the flap control units is there anything on the units to tell me they are in sync?
What other things do I need to test to make sure the unit is working with my car.
Thanks

Press the air circulation and front defrost button at the same time until they start flashing. This will perform a reset and calibration. If the lights continue to blink more than say a minute or so, then one of the flaps is malfunctioning.
