installing used transmission in the C32
I just got a used transmission for the C32. I am going to install a new filter and clean out the pan. So, if I assume the torque converter has emptied out into the pan during shipping, how do I do the initial fill of the trans and initian startup so as to not destroy seals due to no fluid/dry start?

The torque converter wouldn't empty out into the pan during shipping. Maybe partially. There is a method for full flush of the torque converter and transmission. Doing so will ensure there isn't a dry start. There's the Mercedes procedure which I did, but another method using a hand pump is easier. Search the forum.

Mercedes C32 AMG
I don't want to break any rules, but there is a really good DIY on Benz World under the W203 section that shows how to correctly flush the C32 tranny.
