I saw one in mexico cruising at highway speeds... I will put it real simple I got crushed. My windows were up and could hear his exhaust as he pulled away and away as if my windows were down and he was next to me...so it may have had minor mods. I let off around 125mph ish. A technician at work has one with minor mods and he gave me a ride going 3/4 throttle it was impressive. He went to some track event for only 11 mustangs which will be featured in some magazine and it was his first time ever he ran 12.1 @ 116 mph

+1 OP nothing to lose for you...he will have his pride really hurt if you win...stangs are known for spinning like crazy giving you an advantage....I wouldn't fear any car no matter the HP because mine isn't a newer car but if they lose they will take it harder then you anyday OP. I'll eventually meet one on rode and will freak him out when either he or I are seeing eachother tail lights
