Mileage or price?

Reposting this from an old thread: You will be hard pressed to find more than 1-3 C55s on the used market at any given time with that low mileage. Sure, perhaps he could spend the same amount on an E55 or S600 with substantially higher mileage (E55 25K to 35K miles, S600 50K to 60K miles), but that's not exactly easy to find is it? I think on average, prices for C55s with high twenty thousand to low thirty thousand miles on the odometer should fall somewhere around $24,000 - $26,000 (this is based on my experience and my fairly frequent review of national C55 prices).
Now, I am not saying you can't try to negotiate the price. But I will say that if a dealership had a C55 with mileage around 14,000 miles, I would bet money they would list it for $29,000 to $32,000 depending on location.

Reference post #34: The Honda example used suggested retail, therefore I used suggested retail. The OP is most likely looking at cars sold at retail. You pick the value that fits your purchase. I simply maintained an apples to apples pick.
Dingleberry post #41 & 42: I didn't tack on 'extra' options. If KBB is too sophisticated for you I could understand your post. However, I merely checked the selections that equalled what is installed on my car. All my mods or additions are OEM and sourced either from MBUSA, MBDE or AMG directly. This is not 'hiking' the price - it's describing the car accurately, given the choices provided by KBB to accurately value the car. It's not like they provided white space to list what you want and put in your own values. How are you claiming that my car doesn't have NAVI for example? A C55 without a rear spoiler? What rock are you under? I know your primo ride has an automated wing - you should add '911' and call it a Chrysler 911.
The 2005 C55's did not have MP3 single disc NAV head units. That became available on the 2006 models with MCSII NAV head units. My car did not originally come with NAV, however, when I retrofitted the OEM system I sourced the later version to gain single disc MP3. The glove box changer was upgraded with firmware. LOL.
Does integrated telephone make you laugh too?
Post 43: I thought 'DVD system' referred to the NAV system as opposed to the multi-CD trunk mounted system that was used in some 2005 MB models. Either way it's a whopping $335 difference - so don't be too worried. I think the full 030 brakes will compensate.
Furthermore, don't even begin to challenge the condition of my car. The KBB excellent selection allows for wear and tear that is not present on my car. Dream on pal - the car is pristine.
I went on to realistically explain the other mods (only offered on EU cars) couldn't be valued, and openly questioned their worth except for the niche buyer.
As for what the cars are worth - who knows given the economic conditions that are struggling to go away. I have no interest or need to part with my C55, so I don't really care in the end, other than when a poser talks garbage. Any dealer that had my car on their lot would price it at $29k minimum guaranteed.

1. Your car is not a Chrysler C32. It's a Chrysler Crossfire. Why not post your value for reference. Maybe yours is really special - like the "Limited" model. And I thought only Buick had the rights to that model name.
2. Stop being a poser and join http://www.crossfireforum.org/forum/ where you can really contribute and help your fellow enthusiasts rather than pretend on this site. You can describe your upcoming mod: removing the engine plate and attaching it over the Chrysler Wings on the hood. Don't forget to change your listing to say Chrysler AMG.
