C55 AMG
CD changer from 06 C230 will work with C55?
I have a C55 with NAV but no 6 disc cd changer option.

Is the one from the 06 C230 exactly the same as the one that came with the 05-06 C55s?

Any special/extra harness I need to purchase if I get the one for sale here?

Just a suggestion for you to consider: spend the money on an ipod integration kit and forget CD changers.

So I can have an integration kit installed without a CD changer? All this time I thought it was something that attaches behind the changer

Where's is the cheapest and best place to get this integeration kit?

+1 ipod is the way to go. there are companies that make the full control module through your factory stereo like PAC (we use PAC at our shop) and they're not much more than a cd changer, just more of a PITA to install time wise.

Can you give more details about this PAC module? I did a quick google and it just seems to be an steering control module?

i have all the info. at work on it. but another company that we use (works better actually) is an east coast company called USA spec. give them a call and ask if they have anything for you.
