how much to take govnr off?
Sup guys, I was wondering, I may be moving to Texas soon and i have a cousin who lives down there with a clk 430 and he says the roads are great for anything. He says he see's Ferraris, Lamborghini's all going down there to top there cars out. I was wondering how much will it cost to take my govener off? has anyone done it?

Several places can do it - renntech, evosport, etc.
But it will cost you - maybe $1000 - $2000.
Calculate how many minutes (seconds?) you will be above 150 mph - it is quite expensive.
There are places way out in the boonies where you can go at the speed in Texas, but you can't go very far before a small-town cop lasers you and you are put away!
I've gone 146 once, in my old Q45, in the panhandle, for about 10 seconds. I was lucky - the next time I drove through there there was a cop parked pretty much right where I had been speeding. Coincidence? Dunno.
