I had another thread asking about this but I thought it was important enough to start a new thread. When I was running 265/35/19 blizzacks on TSW Bremmas, tires were making contact with my wheel wells often, anytime I hit a little bump. Switching to Conti DW summers in 235/30/19 completely fixed it. I haven't heard them rub yet. Also there are more tire choices in the 30 series tires. They had hankook V12s in 30 series but not 35s (which I didn't realize until the DWs were ordered). I don't know if this is the general consensus but its what I found on my car.

That will do it. Also though it has a lot to do with the tire's tread. I'm sure there are types of tires in the old size that wouldn't rub.

I assume you're referring to the rears only? Isn't 235/30/19 a little too stretched for the rears?
