I am going to do the resonator delete on my C55 but I want to maintain the same amount of back pressure that the stock resonator creates. Has anyone cut this resonator open to see what the smalles diameter opening is?

What size is the piping that is used to replace this resonator? 3"?

I am thinking about maybe having the shop crimp it or reduce it down to 2.5" at one point to obtain the same back pressure.


Thoughts?
