Rear speaker rattle fix?
MY C55 has a bad rattle at certain bass frequencies. I have read that the dealers have used felt to get rid of the rattle.

I've been trying to get rid of it for two years and am not convinced, at least in my case, that it's not a blown sub. I can't seem to isolate the buzz to a non-speaker part. Getting frustrated...

Make sure that it's not a loose sun shade ( if equipped with it ). The mounting bracket breaks and it hangs down in the deck and rattles.

Its the top of the shade as it sits in the rear dash ditch, it vibrates. I just put the shade up so it's pressed against the window and it seems to do the trick. It rattles worse once the car has been in the sun for a while
