Nitrous
I've noticed that alot of the fast crossfires that run 11s and one that runs 10s that are spraying 75-150 shot of nitrous with race gas. Why hasnt many people installed a nitrous kit on the c32? I'm thinking a nice 35-50hp wet shot rightinto the throttle body sounds actually really safe. at 35-50hp shot, you can even run pump gas probably. What you guys thinnk?

The only reason I have not yet done it is because I am afraid that when I get use to the power, I would not want to go back. It's not that expensive to install NOS system, but Refilling NOS is not cheap at least in CA![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)

MBWorld Fanatic!
I think most people here are looking for more reliability and are too scared of the long term effects nitrous may have on the SC.
However, it HAS been done by one of the owners of Eurocharged. Just give them a call if you want advice. They sell a kit for our car too BTW:![rice](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rice.gif)

Yes, jake and jerry have both sprayed, i think jerry had a 35 shot and jake had a 50 shot. Reliability wise, i just wouldnt expect a shot that small to do much damage to our engines, considering we have forged internals. nitrous kits are cheap, but i definitely know what you mean. once you feel the increased power from the nitrous, you wont go back, but youre not gonna be using it every day, only when racing or at the track, etc.
as far as long term effects, many people dont run boost and spray, but if they do a big shot, they gotta use race gas, and thats a pain in the *** plus alot of money. so itll basically be a track car.
im even thinking about cutting into the firewall to fit the needswings intake manifolds and the bigger intake hose, but thats gonna be another project.
