Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupé Black Series the most powerful C-Class ever
If your run of-the-mill Mercedes-Benz C-Class AMG is not fast or powerful enough to impress the neighbors then you better head to Germany and pick up the latest from Mercedes-Benz, the 517 horsepower C 63 AMG Coupé Black Series. The C 63 AMG Coupé Black Series will be rolled out for the first time during the German Grand Prix weekend and go on sale in January 2012 for a mere $165,711.00.
From the curb the new C 63 AMG Coupé Black Series has an arrow-shaped front section with the obligatory Mercedes star in the radiator grille. The air intakes in the front apron ensure reliable air flow through the large cooling modules. Two openings in the aluminum hood support the expelling of engine heat, while the struts positioned at an angle in the front apron emphasize the vehicle’s width. The black front splitter located at the lower end helps to balance the vehicle aerodynamically.
The aggressive appearance continues with the side view. A newly developed front axle with a greater track width called for new wings, which have been widened by 28 millimeters on each side. The “6.3” logos let other drivers know you have a large-displacement eight-cylinder high-speed naturally aspirated engine under the hood. There are air outlets behind the wheel cut-outs, restyled AMG side skirts and the rear wings have also been widened by 42 millimeters due to the greater track width of the rear axle.
The C 63 AMG Coupé Black Series rides on 255/35 R 19 and 285/30 R 19 tires mounted on 9 x 19 (front) and 9.5 x 19 (rear) AMG light-alloy wheels. Painted titanium grey, the high-sheen light-alloy wheels are produced using particularly light forging technology. These forged wheels weigh a total of 24 lbs. less than comparable wheels with a conventional design. The lower weight results in reduced unsprung masses, which improves both the suspension’s response and the steering precision.

Sign me up for a used CLK63 BS too! Much prettier in my opinion. The only thing that annoys me about it is the lack of rev matching blips on downshifts....if the standard C63 got speedshift plus, I don't see why the CLK63 BS didn't.
