Hello everyone. My C55 died today .. I attempt to restart and nothing.. the car has good voltage but will not start. The cooling fan runs at full speed now and the temp guage does not work. I found the engine wiring harness which is run underneath the windshield cowling rubbed through the plastic insulation around the harness and three wires were wore through and touching each other. I have trouble codes, C1038, C1022, P2311, and P2312. All relating to the CAN syatem with the engine system. Anyone else have a problem like this? It's going to the dealership on tuesday... Rather not happy. I feel its something mercedes should step up tp the plate about since the harness is in such a dumb spot. Thoughts suggestions would be appreciated!

Never heard of the issue are you sure a rat didn't chew the wires?

Nope- You can see plain as day where it rubbed through on the cowling..
