Took a chance on these brakes!
Just happened to be browsing ebay, sober I may add, and came across these at a stupidly low price whatever car they are for: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=280736836566
The part number does not appear to mean anything, nor did they come from a CL500 as its a non AMG car! To me they look like the SLK55 rear calipers. SO hope with a few more bits they will fit my C55!
Anyone have an idea what they are from?
I just had to click BIN before anyone else seen them!

i think you bought a pig. i think the distance between the mount ears is about 1/2" to much to bolt directly on. also the holes for the mount ears are 12mm and you have 10mm bolts so sleeves will be needed. in order to run the proper 330mm rotors a custom bracket will need to be fabbed to raise the calipers to the proper height and allow them to be bolted on. sorry.
best i can find the only bolt on is a slk55/clk63 caliper. the cl55,s600,cl600 caliper fitted with a 12mm od 10mm id 19mm tall sleeve will bolt also bolt on
the part # is a brembo #. there isnt a mercedes # on the brembo brakes

Its not impossible to fab up. I believe one of the xf guys who frequents these forums got them to work on the rear of his xf - in other words, theyd work on r170s and w203 rears.

Well I guess at £150gbp I should make my money back selling them on again!
