Stupid Question, Setting The Clock?

I have a C32 2003 that had the factory navigation. To the best of my knowledge, the clock was set though the factory nav unit. But, I have since removed the factory nav unit and replaced it with an after-market Pioneer system.

The clock is shown in the cluster, but how can I set it?

a car.
Use the menu on the LCD to change settings. It's buried in the configuration.

did you install the module to retain steering wheel controls when you changed the stereo?

I'll have to check there, last I looked it wasn't there. The manual says those cars with the COMAND system set the clock through the COMAND system.

I haven't yet, the place that installed my system was having a hard time finding a module that would work. So, the volume and next track / back track right now doesn't work.

then i don't think you'll be able to adjust the time until you do get that working. BTW PAC makes the two parts you're going to need to make them work.

Do you know which two parts from PAC I need to get it to work?

Also, do you know if the dealer could set the clock (like some special way hooking up the car lol)?

Unfortunately the instrument clustor takes the time from the comand unit (navigation) when this option is fitted. What you will need to do is get the instument clustor recoded so that it's not looking for the comand unit and this will then allow you to change the time via the instrument clustor.

You will need access to a star diagnosis unit, change the varient coding in the EIS and instrument clustor to show comand not present. This will then re-enable the clock adjustment in the instrument clustor. Your model should be pre-scn coding so this is easy to change.

After I unstall the PAC things to make the steering wheel controls work, that should also let me set the time in the cluster via the cluster settings?
