Haha its pretty funny the officer couldnt even figure what model the car was since i have it debadged. But he pulled me over for going 80, which he paced. Otherwise my detector woulve been hit with a KA band. He wrote me up for 75 in a 65, which was cool and told me that he saw me cross all four lanes at once. Couldve been worse. Just pissed cause my record of speeding tickets isn't so great. What was yours for?

Try and fight it, my co-worker used the advice from Ticket Assassin and got off the TWO speeding tickets he got in ONE day! LOL

Yea I hear you guys ![slap](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/slap.gif)
I was driving 168mph in Germany legally, then I cross the border in Switzerland and the cops almost took my drivers licence away for driving 24 mph too fast above the speed limit on an empty highway![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
Germany rules other countries suck with their stupid speed limits

2005 C55 AMG, 2010 VW GTI (Stage 1)
I got one a couple weeks ago by a stationary cop who saw me pass an 18 wheeler on a 2 lane highway, going barely 15 mph over the limit... that one I'm definitely going to court for, nonsensical on his part!!

Also, I don't know what patrol conditions are like there, but we have TONS of undercovers (expeditions, crown vics, impalas, chargers, suburbans, tahoes, cavaliers) here in MD; back in 2008 I got pulled over by an undercover jeep liberty, which I inadvertently passed before taking an exit... Then there's the speed cameras, which are popping up more often now (we have them at nearly every light in DC, and in almost every construction area on the beltway, which is basically the entire loop around DC 24/7 lol).
Don't you feel like the police should focus on fighting crime or policing reckless/aggressive driving rather than purely speeding? Isn't it about who endangers other drivers? Ah, don't get me started on my philosophy about this....

Well unfortunately cops are so wound up these days in tickets. Police and sherriffs need to focus more on crime and just let chp take care of the drivers

I just paid a fine on Thursday. I would be ok about it if the slow *** person I passed also got one for being the equivalent speed under the limit.

I can offer the best advice I have on NOT getting pulled over...watch the brake lights of the cars in front of you. I know you pay attention to them put pay more attention to them..always!!! Of course this only works if you are in traffic.
Next time you are driving and REALLY paying attention watch how often people hit there brakes when they see a police car...even if they are not speeding they hit their brakes. That is the best radar/laser detector in the world. And its free.
Good luck.

I was getting pulled over more when I used my radar detector... Also been let off on multiple occasions (around 10 times) with either a written or verbal warning. Up to 15MPH over, and a careless driving for fishtailing a turn at the dead of night with absolutely no one around except for that cop hiding up on the hill of course. 90 day deferment on that one. Then I get nabbed going 10MPH over, and have to pay over twice the amount of ticket to keep it off my record (driving school). The judge said he looked at my record and wasn't going to let me off free LOL.

I drive at reasonable speeds on the highways and streets, and save the fast driving for back roads. Keep it right around 10 over on the highways, drove 12 hours this weekend and no cop trouble.

It seems like I get pulled over more than anyone I know. Mostly for tint/no front plates, but really I think my car just has a target on it

Haha...yeah when I talk to my insurance company I assure them that my username and email name is NO indication as to how I drive though I am pretty sure there is some rate increase on my policy due to it.

I haven't been stopped in my C32 yet, surprisingly. I did FLY by a cop that was shooting radar yesterday doing about 86 in a 65 and he didn't move..though I looked at him and could see him turn his head looking at my car. Not sure why he didn't stop me.
