Power seat fault - Head restraint fault when press on seat back
Dear all,
2002 C32 AMG RHS in HongKong.
I have a "minor" power seat problem here. My driver side power seat head restraint was found mal-function intermittently. I can hear the relay "click" sound every time i operate it so I assume the power seat module is function ok. After detail check, I found that it was failed when I keep my back on the seat back. It will become ok when I keep clear on the seat back.
This made me think there is some wiring loosen or bad contact inside the seat back cushion or the head restraint motor.
I would like to ask:
1) Where is the head restraint motor ?
2) how to locate it ? how to open the seat back ??
