Speed limiter?
Isn't the speed limiter on the C55 from the factory at 150ish MPH? I got my Kleemann done yesterday (expect for some airbox issues I'll revisit next week) and I couldn't get past 110mph. I tried 2 times and as soon as it shifted into 4th (I believe) it was right at 110mph and wouldn't go any faster. It wasn't sputtering or anything like that, definately felt like the car was limiting there some some reason. I've had it to 140mph pre-Kleemann a while back, but that was with the Eurocharged tune still in place. I had them flash it back to stock before starting the Kleemann install, so I'm wondering if something could have happened during that. I have one of the knock-off Star systems, but I'm afraid to try and reprogram a module with it because I don't know if it stores the information on the computer or if it pulls it from the internet somewhere and if it would even work since it's not real hardware.
I haven't been able to talk to Brandon at Kleemann yet since they had already closed yesterday afternoon for Thanksgiving.

Well, I don't know why but the limiter was set at 170kmh. I fiddled around in Das freezing my nads off for 45 minutes and finally found the setting. I changed it to the 250kmh it's supposed to be at.

I have this option also on the instrument cluster (170, 200, 220, 250, OFF! ), I have actually selected the "off" option and have not had troubles hitting 280kph
- Pat.
Ps: not sure if there is a difference with the Aus delivered C55's.

Very interesting, definately not available on US delivered cars. Though I wonder if there's something hidden in developer mode for the cluster that could turn that on. I can't read German at all is the problem.
