Welcome to the forum. There should be a few threads on this that will help. Here's one that's a good start: https://mbworld.org/forums/c32-amg-c...what-look.html

....as a rule, the C55s are pretty reliable.....

I think that is because there is so much information on this forum to answer your question that folks aren't looking to re-post info that is already here. For example, run a search on the word "maintenance" and have a look in some of those threads. I'm not trying to be difficult, but just trying to respond to your question.

FWIW, I have an '06 (only 27K miles) that I've had since new and it runs flawlessly. No problems (other than replacing the tires more often than I'd like). It's a great car and you won't see many of them around.

I have a 2005 C55 with not quite 35k miles on it. The car is bullet proof and it's true! You won't see many around! Enjoy!

untill i changed/tuned my engind never had any issues whatsover. A very strong car indeed if 'well serviced'. I agree with the bulet proof. Bought it with around 35000km and tuned it at 70000km. Just make sure it was never involved into a crash and that it doesnt make weird noises

Thanks for the replys!!

Im not new to forums i know how the "search" tool works, half the time stuff pops up thats irrelevent to what your looking for. hahaha

I talked to a MB tech. that owns his own shop and got some good advice on what to look for.

hopefully the car is still avail. on Fri.
