C55 Alternative Brand Differential Fluid?
I have been doing a lot of research on different brand gear oil for the C55 differential. It seems that Amsoil is the best but it is very expensive.
For those who have experience with other brands what is your feedback?
What is the Mercedes brand fluid? Castrol?

I went ahead and picked up the Mobile 1 gear oil.
The change interval is dependent on the temperature and conditions that the differential is exposed to.
If one drives their car hard a lot and the fluid gets a lot of heat it will need to be changed more often. These fluids all pass a SAE test that consists of different categories but I know viscocity breakdown over time due to heat is one of them.
