two quality issues
1. springs have been replaced twice.............once under warranty? 20,000 and 40,000 miles. wifes car..........town driving mostly.
2. Heating element caught fire in the heated seats and burned thru seat and clothing?
car no longer under warranty........any others having these problems. ? recourse to $$$ from Mercedes.? HELP

I think you would have better luck with the W203 non-AMG section. Some thoughts on posting this over there...
1. Front or back, both? Cracked or sagging?
2. There's no shortage of seat heater complaints on all cars. The element was faulty. I would suggest an insurance claim.
