New Fuel Pump = Still problems
So I had the fuel pump go on me last week, wasn't too bad because the car was just on due for a major service..
I read up on so many old threads and they were a big help, it seems I had mine burn out the wire harness like a few others had on here too.
So the car was serviced and brand new fuel pump (imported from the states because MB Australia wanted double the price) and I still have a problem..
When the car is left overnight or for many hours and I go to start it, the car just cranks but does not start until the 2nd/3rd go then it rough idles and then after 10 seconds sounds nice and healthy..
The mechanic says it's due to pressure loss and could be fuel filter or one way valve, can anyone confirm this happening when a brand new fuel pump is installed?
I have also lost some major power, I'm thinking the computer was reset and I need to get a flash again from Eurocharged or I need to adjust the computer to my driving style.. odd.

I just filled it up in fuel for the first time since the service and the level meter is showing completely empty now instead of full, odd!

Yeah both the pump, the sending unit (LH pump) and the relay were replaced.
Car started OK this morning first time after I filled it up last night, although the fuel gauge is still reading full empty although it is full :S
