Yesterday I contacted the company directly about sourcing the pump. They replied asking me my location so hopefully that's good news.

I have just the pierburg pump in case you want to purchase it and do the install yourself. You will need to pull out the fuel pump assembly and dismantle it (not difficult). There are two pumps in the assembly- one is the sender pump that pumps fuel into a canister that houses the main pump.
I didn't end up using the pump since my fuel sender unit was also bad. I ended up reinstalling my stock fuel pump and dropping it off at the dealership before I dumped more money trying to figure it out.

Will the sending unit going out cause same symptoms of main pump? Shop owners says my pump(s) are out. Need to get in contact with him for more details. Shop is closed on the weekend of course. I would assume it's just the main pump, and he listened to it going out, as the assist is not the only flow of fuel going to that section, correct? Ended up finding a European website that offers all components included sender, main, and assist. SYZYGY thanks for offering please PM me with details and a price. It is brand new correct?

Talked to the shop owner yesterday. Said he manually ran 12 volts to the main fuel pump and it would cut out after some time. Placed a new pump on order from european website today. Little less than $300 shipped. Better be the right one as shipping was half the cost of the pump itself! Sourced information from this thread.

Something Slow
are you sure its the right pump?. i purchased an AMG fuel pump last summer it cost 800+. i know the regular C320/C240 etc.. pumps are about $250-300
the AMG C32 has the
1. Sending unit that Sends Fuel from One Tank "Drive Side" to the Other Tank "Pass Side"
2. In The "Pass Side" Tank has Two Pumps. One Pump Fuels the Other then Sends the Fuel to the Engine.
as seen in your Picture above is the Dual Pump that sits in the "Pass Side" Tank.
My mechanic had to splice some wires to get the 03+ Pump to work in my 01 C320 :-).
Good luck

Pump came in Monday. Got it to the shop just a few ago. Should know afternoon time tomorrow if it's the right pump and my c32 is fixed...

Looks exactly the same as the one pictured above. Smaller than you would expect by looking at the photographs, but weighs a good amount. Instructions included also indicates 130 l/h flow rate. Should be the correct main fuel pump. Also going to have the shop replace supercharger pulley bearing. I'm stuck at a crossroad here. Really considering selling the C32 as it has been so unreliable. However, I've replaced so much and invested a lot in modifications, maybe I should keep it.

Got the C32 back from shop today. This repair ran me a total of little less than $1000 with towing, shop fee's, and the cost of pump. Lot better than $3,000+ though for a new fuel tank, and labor. Did several WOT runs and they have shown this is the correct pump. There's no loss of power higher RPM due to lack of fuel supply. Feels good to have her back. It's been over a month now.

Yes, I'm glad the shop diagnosed correctly, and got the job done quick when the pump came in. Thankfully I was able to source the fuel pump as well. Still kind of set on selling for something with lower mileage. Leaning towards 6.0 GTO right now.
