Looking at these headers and it says the kit comes with wider piping, 'modified rear mufflers' and steel sport cats. I've heard that headers don't make a dramatic change in sound but it seems like these ones should...

Does anyone have any experience with this header on the stock amg exhaust system as far as sound goes?

I have Kleemann "mid-length" LT headers on the stock (well, except for the res. delete) AMG exhaust.

Don't have any recording equipment worth a damn, so I don't have any clips to share, but they sound pretty good to my ears.

 

How much louder was the car after the headers?

 

My headers gave the car a deeper sound...plus more torque.

Relatively louder, with the KLEEMANN mid-lengths plus primary cat-delete dp's, but not obnoxiously so.
