I installed my comand today and am not sure if this wire got unplugged while I pulled the HU out.. From what I remember it was wrapped up with tape on the harness.. Everything seems to be working ok so far.. I did not attempt to randomly plug it back in because I was not sure where it exactly went. any help??


Side not has anyone successfully pulled a button of the comand? one of the seek buttons has the slightest bit of lag with the rebound.

Yea you know I honestly don't know what that is. You sure that didn't fall out of one of the larger connectors? Do all of your buttons on the dash work, both top set and bottom set?

 

hmm.. not that I know of? If you notice it has a notch on the connector.. It seems like a solo plug? I could swore i came across a wiring diagram for the HU either here or mercupgrades? I have not driven the car since then (I keep it stored) and remember everything working a ok.. surround and all..

 

btw it that yellow and orange/yellow wire.. if that helps?

 

if you don't see anything obvious not working, don't spend too much time worrying about it. It's not uncommon to find wires behind the dash that are not used on your particular vehicle. Someday you may figure out what it was.

 

ahhh.. I think it is a MOST Connector for the bluetooth.. Verify if anyone would like but I'm about 95 percent sure.
